Salto is an official naturist beach, between Sines and Milfontes, near Porto Covo, to its North. You can find it between Cerro da Águia and Cerca Nova, two small beaches just outside Porto Covo. From Lisbon, take the A2 southbound and at Grândola exit towards Sines, by the IC 33 and IP 8, till you come to a round junction where you must turn left (South) following the direction of Algarve, on the IC 4. Then turn right to Porto Covo and at the end of the village turn right on a tar road that leads to the small beaches on that stretch of coast, among which is Salto.

To access the beach, take the stairs down the South hill.

There is a small fresh water spring, suitable for washing up or tasting a sip of pure water with no chemicals...
