Between Porto Covo and Vila Nova de Milfontes, on the coast of Alentejo. From Lisbon, take the A2 South Highway until Grândola, then towards Sines and just before turn left to Algarve. Pass S. Torpes, Porto Covo and Pessegueiro Island and turn right after the Camping "Sitava": you'll be at Malhão. There, go as much North as you can, leave the car in one of the parking places and walk to the North far end of the beach, near a tiny river that comes from in between the hills. If you want to get closer by car and dare to cross-country, pass the parking spaces and take any of the sand paths (there are many and all go to the same place) until a wide parking space, from where you cross the dunes to the little river. The paths seem soft send, by you can go through in any kind of car.
Very beautiful beach, unpoluted zone where Nature is still preserved. Lots of natural drinking water springs, where you can even take a shower, just choose the type of flow you prefer. Nudism has been a habbit here from way before you were born... This place is a "must" in Portugal...
