Official naturist beach. Take road N120 south of Odemira and turn right after the bridge over river Seixe, drive 3 kms to Odeceixe Beach, go on for another 500 meters until you come to a parking lot by a belvedere. Park there and look for the stairs down to the beach.

This beach is on the beginning of the west Algarve coast, south of Alentejo. It has surveillance during the summer season and trash is removed regularly.

Comments of other naturists on Adegas:

Accessed by a steep slope and lots of wooden steps (not for anyone with heart/lung condition!) this is a lovely if small beach which is officially Naturist. We visited twice and found it predominantly used by naturist couples, families and singles, mixed in with a few textile surfers.
The cove can be accessed from the main beach at Odeceixe at low tide by walking around a rocky headland but, at high tide you have to use the steps! There was a resident team of life guards who kept a close eye on swimmers. Water shallow for a long way out with lots of breakers to play in. Beach was not as clean as Cabanas Velhas. Tide line debris not cleared regularly. However this did not spoil our enjoyment. Good parking on top of the cliff.
